I often transfer files by wifi directly to a win 10 PC, yet it can work for weeks then suddenly stops working completely (PC not found), and you have to set it up from scratch again. The EOS-1D Mark II N is bundled with the EOS Digital Solutions Disk v11, which includes an upgraded version of Canon’s RAW image processing software Digital Photo Professional (DPP).

Thanks for providing this information to the forum, even Einstein would be struggling with canon's wifi and web implementation. On G1X Mark II, the ImageSync icon looks like an image of a laptop with a down-arrow.

Once you have done all this, you can initiate an automated image sync from your camera (i.e., transfer all previously untransferred images and videos to CIG and to whatever the CIG is setup to connect to).Strangely you see the option to provide CIG login only at this icon, and not from software that you can start from the collection of applications accessible from Windows Start. Enter your CIG login details from one of the menu options at the icon. And here is the step that I missed because I do not see it documented anywhere: from the Windows bar collection of tools at the bottom right, locate the icon for CameraWindow (looks like an open laptop).Insatall CameraWindow on your Windows machine. Also at CIG, change the settings appropriately within "ImageSync".Set up online services settings on CIG where you want your pictures/videos to go.Set up an account at Canon Image Gateway. You have to do several things to accomplish an automated sync from your camera to your computer and optionally online storage (Facebook/Twitter/Youtube/Flickr/Google Drive)

I was able to sort this out after talking to Canon. I am able to transfer all untransferred images to my Windows machine through CameraWindow, but I would like to be able to transfer them directly to the cloud. Note that images cannot be sent only to Web services. Sending Images Automatically (ImageSync): Images on the memory card that have not been transferred already can be sent to a computer or Web services via CANON iMAGE GATEWAY.
